Who we are

We are a gay couple based in Amsterdam who love to meet new people and enjoy everything from relaxed drinks to all-night dance floors, leather, latex, rubber, drag; you name it, we are game! But on a serious note, having travelled extensively ourselves, we understand that exploring a new city's gay party scene can feel overwhelming, especially when travelling alone or stepping outside your comfort zone.

And so, we created Proud Company to provide trusted companionship to Amsterdam's LGBTQ festivals and nightlife. Think of us as your local gay friends who'll party by your side.

Outside Proud Company, we work professionally in engineering and healthcare, bringing the same professionalism and care to every experience. So, whether you'd like to chat about travel, careers, culture, science, or simply dance until sunrise, we've probably got you covered.

No. Proud Company provides trusted companionship for LGBTQ+ festivals and nightlife.

No. Proud Company provides company and shared social experiences only.

No. But we do know where the best dance floors are… and where to find late-night fries afterwards!

No. We are happy to suggest ideas and destinations, but guests remain responsible for their own bookings and travel arrangements. We can assist with purchasing festival & party tickets only.

No. While we are happy to share recommendations and assist with planning, Proud Company is not a tour guide service, personal assistant service, or 24-hour concierge. Think of us as your local gay friends, not a 24-hour concierge. Our focus is on companionship and shared experiences.

Yes. All experiences are hosted by both founders. Having two hosts creates a more relaxed and natural dynamic while providing comfort and peace of mind for guests and ourselves. There are always at least three people present, including the guest, which contributes to a welcoming and professional environment.

Absolutely. We welcome individuals and couples. Many couples enjoy being hosted by another couple.

Between us, we speak English, Dutch, Spanish, Afrikaans, and French.

Not at all. Alcohol is entirely optional.

No. Many of our guests are first-time visitors, newly exploring the scene, recently single, or simply looking to experience Amsterdam's gay scene with trusted company.

No. We provide company and support, but every experience is unique and no particular outcome can be guaranteed.

Yes. Proud Company reserves the right to terminate an experience if behaviour becomes unsafe, illegal, abusive, or inconsistent with the agreed nature of the service.

No. Each experience runs for the agreed number of hours listed for that service. We'll give you a proper send-off before we part ways, so you can keep the night going on your own, or with new friends you've made along the way.
